Who is responsible
JPCE operates Jolly Green Giant and is responsible for the personal data processed for this website. For privacy questions or to exercise a data-protection right, email privacy@jollygreengiant.eu. This address is for privacy matters, not urgent, medical, counselling or legal support. Please do not include another person’s medical information or details you do not need to share.
What the website does not collect
You can read the site without an account. We do not currently use advertising, analytics, tracking pixels, social-media plugins, chat, uploads or contact forms. Our images, fonts and scripts are served with the website rather than loaded from third-party content services. Directory searches and filters run in your browser and are not sent to us.
No optional cookies or tracking
The site does not set advertising, analytics or preference cookies. If you select “Continue” on the privacy notice, the browser stores jggPrivacyNoticeDismissed in session storage so the notice remains closed in that browser tab. It contains only the value 1, does not identify you and is deleted when the tab’s session ends. If optional analytics or other non-essential technologies are introduced later, we will update this notice and request consent before activating them where required.
Technical hosting information
When you request a page, our hosting provider, Hostinger, necessarily receives technical information needed to deliver and protect the site. Server and security logs may include your IP address, requested page, date and time, browser or device information and error or security events. JPCE uses this information only to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service, relying on legitimate interests where that basis applies. We do not currently use these logs to profile visitors or measure individual behaviour.
Hostinger acts as a service provider for hosting and may use approved subprocessors or process data in more than one country under its contractual safeguards. Logs are kept only for the period needed for service delivery, security, fault investigation and applicable legal obligations; the exact period can depend on Hostinger’s systems and the nature of an incident. Read Hostinger’s data-processing addendum and privacy policy.
Worksheets stay on your device
Worksheet answers remain in the open page. Our code does not upload them or intentionally save them to cookies, local storage, session storage or an account. Choosing print or download creates a copy under your control. Your browser may restore form values, and browser extensions, device software, backups, download history or monitoring tools may access what you type or save. Clearing a form does not erase browser history, downloaded files, printed copies or system records.
These prompts may lead you to write health, relationship or family information. Avoid names and identifying details, especially information about children or another person. Use a blank sheet instead if that is safer for you.
Privacy email
If you email the privacy address, JPCE processes your email address, message and any information you choose to provide to answer the request, keep an appropriate record and meet legal obligations. The lawful basis depends on the request and may include compliance with a legal obligation or legitimate interests in administering privacy enquiries. Privacy correspondence is retained only while needed to respond, document the outcome, resolve a dispute or meet an applicable legal requirement.
External services and links
This site links to independent healthcare, crisis, government and support providers. Selecting a link takes you to another organisation with its own privacy practices. We use a no-referrer policy to reduce information sent with outbound links, but the destination will receive your connection details when you visit it. Read its privacy information before submitting personal data.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, or to object to processing. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority, including the UK Information Commissioner, an EU or EEA supervisory authority, or the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner. Contact privacy@jollygreengiant.eu first if you would like us to address a concern.
If a device may be monitored
Browser history, downloads, network records and monitoring software can reveal access. There is no quick-exit button here that promises to hide activity. Consider another means of accessing support if available and ask a specialist service for advice about your circumstances.
Children
The information is written for fathers and other adults. The website does not ask children to provide personal data. Adults using the worksheets should avoid recording a child’s name, address, school, health details or other identifying information.
Security and changes
We minimise collection and use encrypted HTTPS connections. No online service or device can guarantee complete security. We will revise this notice if the website begins collecting information in a new way and will change the effective date above. Material new optional tracking will not be activated before any consent required by law.
Accessibility
We use readable text, keyboard-accessible controls, image descriptions and print layouts. Essential guidance is written in text rather than embedded in photographs. Accessibility has not been independently certified. Most reading works without JavaScript; filtering, privacy-notice dismissal and worksheet downloads require it.
Language coverage
This privacy notice and the full guides and tools are currently in English. French, German, Spanish and Italian welcome pages point to official resources. Those pages are AI-assisted translations and have not received independent legal, clinical or native-language review.
